Abstract
Online appendix to IPM-36-6 providing: (A) proof of the proposition that in the neo-Lewis ‘bad’ regime, labour productivity and capital intensity grow more slowly than in the ‘good’ regime; and (B) a comprehensive review of previous explanations for the UK productivity puzzle (reallocation, mismeasurement, labour hoarding, capital intensity, zombie firms) and why the author finds each insufficient on its own.
