We find that the IEWB for New Brunswick increased at an average annual rate of 1.34 percent per year over the period. Among the four domains that compose the IEWB, consumption and equality have had positive growth rates, while the wealth domain and the security domain have had small falls. The consumer domain had the highest growth rate (4.31 percent per year) and the equality domain had a growth rate of 1.81 percent per year over the period. The wealth domain declined by 0.24 percent per year and the security domain declined by 0.27 percent per year between 1981-2019. In 2019, among the provinces, New Brunswick is in ninth place, but the province stands out with the second highest ranking in terms of equality. In terms of growth rates, the province had the third highest growth rate in the IEWB between 1981-2019. It also had the second highest growth rate among the provinces in the consumption domain and the best growth rate in the equality domain. Ce rapport présente des estimations de l’Indice de bien-être économique (IBEE) et de ses quatre domaines (flux de consommation, stocks de richesse, égalité économique et sécurité économique) pour le Nouveau-Brunswick de 1981 à 2019. Nous constatons que l’IBEE du Nouveau-Brunswick a augmenté à un taux annuel moyen de 1,34 % par année sur la période. Parmi les quatre domaines composant l’IBEE, la consommation et l’égalité ont affiché des taux de croissance positifs, tandis que les domaines de la richesse et de la sécurité ont connu de légers reculs. Le domaine de la consommation a affiché le taux de croissance le plus élevé (4,31 % par année) et le domaine de l’égalité, un taux de croissance de 1,81 % par année sur la période. Le domaine de la richesse a reculé de 0,24 % par année et le domaine de la sécurité, de 0,27 % par année entre 1981 et 2019. En 2019, parmi les provinces, le Nouveau-Brunswick se classe au neuvième rang, mais la province se démarque par son deuxième rang le plus élevé en matière d’égalité.
