Nominal ICT investment in the Canadian business sector grew 0.6 per cent in 2009, outpacing the U.S. decline of 3.9 per cent. Despite this, Canada’s real ICT investment per worker remained well below the U.S. level, and the ICT investment per worker gap widened in real terms, reaching 49.6 per cent by 2009. À partir d’une mise à jour à 2009 de la base de données sur les TIC du CSLS pour le Canada et les États-Unis, ce rapport présente un aperçu de l’évolution de l’investissement en TIC du secteur des entreprises dans les deux pays, en mettant l’accent sur l’écart d’investissement en TIC. L’investissement nominal en TIC du secteur des entreprises canadien a augmenté de 0,6 % en 2009, dépassant le recul de 3,9 % observé aux États-Unis.
