Prosperity Index, a composite measure of prosperity for British Columbia tracking socio-economic indicators related to living standards and economic well-being. The index compares B.C.’s performance with other Canadian provinces, OECD countries, and Pacific U.S. states on multiple domains including the business environment. The report discusses the methodology, selection of indicators, data sources, preliminary results, and comparisons with other composite indexes such as the Index of Economic Well-being and the Human Development Index. Ce rapport présente le contexte technique et les estimations de l’Indice de prospérité de la C.-B., une mesure composite de la prospérité pour la Colombie-Britannique qui suit des indicateurs socioéconomiques liés au niveau de vie et au bien-être économique. L’indice compare la performance de la C.-B. à celle des autres provinces canadiennes, des pays de l’OCDE et des États américains du Pacifique selon plusieurs domaines, y compris le climat d’affaires.
