The reviewer praises the book as a definitive users’ guide to growth accounting at aggregate and industry levels, while discussing areas of continuing debate including the treatment of consumer durable services in output measurement and the prospects for future productivity growth. Cet article de recension examine l’ouvrage Information Technology and the American Growth Resurgence de Dale Jorgenson, Mun Ho et Kevin Stiroh — un compte rendu complet de la méthodologie de comptabilité de la croissance et du rôle des TI dans la reprise de productivité américaine depuis 1995. Le recenceur salue l’ouvrage comme un guide de référence définitif sur la comptabilité de la croissance aux niveaux agrégé et sectoriel, tout en examinant les domaines faisant toujours l’objet de débat, notamment le traitement des services des biens de consommation durables dans la mesure de la production et les perspectives de croissance future de la productivité.
