On the occasion of his 80th birthday, the Centre for the Study of Living Standards is honouring long-time CSLS Chair Ian Stewart and his distinguished professional career as an economic researcher and policy adviser with a Festschrift volume. Released September 19, 2011, New Directions for Intelligent Government in Canada: Papers in Honour of Ian Stewart was edited by Fred Gorbet and Andrew Sharpe, and contains papers from many of Canada’s leading economists and policymakers.
