On the occasion of his 80th birthday, the Centre for the Study of Living Standards is honouring long-time CSLS Chair Ian Stewart and his distinguished professional career as an economic researcher and policy adviser with a Festschrift volume. Released September 16, 2011, New Directions for Intelligent Government in Canada: Papers in Honour of Ian Stewart contains papers from many of Canada’s leading economists and policymakers, including John Helliwell, David Dodge, Munir Sheikh, Don Drummond, Scott Clark, Lars Osberg, and Robin Boadway.
