Alisaleh Shariati
Alisaleh Shariati is an economist at the Centre for the Study of Living Standards (CSLS). He has been involved in conducting multiple research projects including authoring a report on the effects of increasing the wages of Early Childcare Educators (ECEs) on the supply of childcare in Canada; co-authoring a report on the labour productivity trends in the Transportation sector in Canada and co-authoring a report on the structure and value of exports in New Brunswick. Prior to this role, Alisaleh was a PhD student and a part-time research assistant at the Department of Economics at Western University. Furthermore, he has experience teaching economics courses at college and university levels on a part-time basis since 2021 including at Fanshawe College, Western University and King's University College. Alisaleh holds an MA in economics from Western University and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
